When planning our vacations the most important thing to us is finding a hotel that is clean, spacious, and kid friendly. We make sure there is plenty of amenities to keep 3 kids busy! That’s why I’m so glad we found Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek. When we arrived to the hotel, Monica at the front desk provided us with great service and checked us right in. She was so kind to explain on the map where everything was located and sent us right up to our room so that we could get settled in.
Our Room
Space is very important for our family. So we were very happy when we saw how spacious our room was. It had two queen beds with plush, signature bedding. The room has a mediterranean inspired decor and upgraded bath amenities. We had a balcony with an awesome view of the pool and gorgeous lake. We enjoyed a cup of coffee every morning on the balcony made from the Keurig machine thats right in the room. The Wyndham Grand Orlando also provides complimentary Wi-Fi which is an absolute MUST for Deon because he works 24/7!!! Our room was a perfect fit for us!
Amenities
The Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonet Creek offers so many different recreational activities for adults and kids. That was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. They have everything from soccer, volleyball, miniature golf to oversized chess boards. The kids were overwhelmed with things to do. Every morning after breakfast we took a walk around the lake. They have several swinging chairs around the lake that we would sit at and feed the koi fish. Once we were done feeding the fish we would head over to the playground. Jordyn and Jaxon could play for hours, they never wanted to leave.
The Pools
The Wyndham Grand has 5 outdoor pools, a lazy river and 2 spa tubs! One of the pool locations has a huge plunging pirate ship with a built-in slide going through it! Jordyn was amazed by it! We were so sad that it was too cold outside and we couldn’t jump in any of the pools! We will definitely be making a trip back just so we can pool hop to all 5 pools!!!
Dining
The Wyndham Grand has 4 restaurants right there on the property. Which works out perfectly because when you have 3 HANGRY kids the last thing you want to do is drive around looking for a restaurant!
We ate breakfast at Tesoro Cove. Tesoro Cove serves the best breakfast from 7am to 11am. Jada and I loved eating there! It was buffet style and had American cuisine. The buffet has bacon, eggs, sausage, toast, bagels, muffins, cereal and so much more!!! They even have a chef making fresh Mickey and Minnie pancakes. They were AMAZING!!
For lunch we ate at Back Bay Bar and Grill. The restaurant has beautiful patio seating located poolside and right by the lake. We sat outside because the weather was so nice. We just sat back, relaxed and had a few drinks and appetizers while the kids enjoyed looking at all the pretty koi fish in the lake!
We ate at Deep Blue Seafood Grille restaurant for dinner. The restaurant has a very relaxed atmosphere and the service was wonderful! The staff was very attentive! Our waiter explained the menu in detail, which was very helpful because I don’t eat seafood often. I chose the crab stuffed grouper and Deon went with the lobster ravioli. Let me tell you dinner did not disappoint! Our dinners were so delicious! We had a wonderful dining experience and can’t wait to go back!
Bar 1521 Sushi opens for dinner. They open daily from 4pm to 12am and sushi is served from 5pm to 11pm. Don’t miss it! They offer appetizers, cocktails and beer as well.
The Barista is the coffee shop located in the hotel lobby and is open daily serving sweet treats!
The Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek is minutes away from Disney Springs and the Walt Disney World theme parks. They also provide shuttle service with multiple time slots to fit your schedule.
